Dr. Elyse Maiorini grew up in Farmington, CT and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2008. After college, she spent a year performing research in children’s oral health at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Maiorini received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and went on to complete a two-year general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, during which she served as chief resident in her second year. Afterwards, she spent two years in Charleston, SC as an associate caring for children and patients with special needs before deciding to return to the greater Charlotte area. Dr. Maiorini enjoys providing comprehensive dental care to all ages. She is a certified Invisalign provider and a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the Ballantyne Spear study club.
When she is not taking care of patients, Dr. Maiorini loves spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, going to Orange theory, running, traveling, gardening, playing the violin, and eating Italian food.
