Dr. Shelli Boucher grew up in the Northeast, completing both her chemistry and doctorate degrees at the University of Connecticut. After graduating from dental school in 2013, she spent one year expanding her clinical skills at VCU's residency program in Richmond, Virginia. She has recently relocated to the Carolinas after working at both pediatric and general dental practices in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Dr. Boucher believes that everyone should have the opportunity to keep their teeth throughout their lifetime. She has undergone extensive advanced training at the Dawson Academy, a globally recognized post graduate education center. The hands on coursework is focused on advanced diagnosis, functionally centered cosmetic dentistry, complex oral rehabilitation, bite disorders and TMJ related issues. She is passionate about shifting the focus in dentistry from minimizing symptoms to treating the root cause of any oral health issue. She truly enjoys helping patients bring all the parts of their mouths back to their natural alignment in order to achieve a stable, predictable long term solution.
In addition to practicing clinical dentistry, Dr. Boucher is involved in transformational speaking and training for dental offices. She is fascinated by neuroscience and loves to study the human mind. In her personal life, Dr. Boucher loves to be outside in nature as often as possible, whether she is hiking or napping in her hammock. She also enjoys traveling, practicing yoga and meditation, wake surfing & anything related to food.
